Set your washing machine on the gentle cycle with cold water wash/rinse. It is suggested to use “color catchers” for the first washing of your quilt. You can find these at your local supermarket in the laundry-care aisle or online. If possible, add ½ -1 cup of distilled white vinegar to your rinse cycle to remove all residual detergent and chemicals. Dry on lowest heat setting, fluffing quilt in dryer often.
